Andrew "Landy" Landenberger (AUS 308) secures his European Championship title already one race before the end!

Two races were scheduled for today. Landy has got the 4th rank twice, giving him an advantage of 7 points over his first follower Chris Field, which lost chance of winning the title during race 7 where he ended at rank 17.
Other noticeable good results are two second places for the impressive catamaran veteran Scott Anderson (AUS 902), promoting him to 4th place, 2 points behind Manuel Calavia (ESP 11). Scott could still land on the podium tomorrow, stay tuned. Steve Brewin (AUS 4) and Ben Moon (USA 11) each scored a bullet today.
The wind was very strong today, more than 22 knots in the buoys area, and 15-20 knots in other zones.
Brad Collet (AUS 10) was victim of a crash right before the first start of the day. As Brad had priority, a protest is underway, he might get redress, potentially changing the results. Rumors says Brad might sail the boat of Andrew Landenberger for the remaining race.
Hey Landy, your dentist should probably not see this picture :-)
